Veal sausage and stir-fried vegetables on skewers


  • 4 pieces of veal sausages
  • 2 tbsp light sesame oil
  • 1 small head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 piece of ginger (approx. 3 cm), chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp palm sugar
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 long wooden skewers

  1. 1. Prepare the veal sausages.

  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wok. Add broccoli, carrots and ginger and stir-fry the vegetables for about 7 minutes until just cooked.

  3. Mix together the soy sauce and palm sugar, add to the wok vegetables to glaze everything.

  4. 2. Fry the veal sausages in a grill pan in hot oil until crispy on all sides and golden brown.

  5. 3. Cut the veal sausages into pieces roughly 3 cm long, and slide these onto skewers, alternating with broccoli and carrots.

  6. Rice is a good accompaniment.
