Mexican skewers from rump of veal
Ingredients for the skewers:
- 1 piece of rump of veal
- 2 avocados
- 3 different colors of bell pepper
- 2 red onions
- Mexican spices
Ingrediënten Mexicaanse kruiden (mix all spices together):
- 2 tablespoons of oregano
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika powder
- 1 tablespoon spicy paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Chili powder to taste
- 1/5 teaspoon salt
Necessities:
- BBQ 180°C

Preparation
Place the sticks in the water so that they do not burn during the barbecue. Cut the veal loin into 2-3 cm pieces, put them in a bowl and marinate the veal loin with the Mexican herbs. Also cut the vegetables into equal square pieces of about 2-3 centimeters. You can start threading the skewers.
Place the skewers on the BBQ and grill until the meat has reached a core temperature of 55°C (131°F).
Tip: Serve the Mexican skewers with homemade guacamole and sour cream!
